Hailing from Denmark, S. Vestergaard is an accomplished producer and multi-instrumentalist, who's been cultivating his solo project over the last five years with a steady stream of sofa friendly ambient, neo-claassical and downtempo electroacoustic singles and albums.

He's cracking on in 2026 with the intention of releasing a new song each month of the years, and he's off to a fine start with "December", which he actually released last month he was so keen to get started.
The track starts off with some chilly Scandi-atmospherics that sound like they were blown in from the regions pine covered hills, the fallen snow dulling the sound and enhancing the melancholic air. Lest the track become too introspective he then patiently introduces some mildly distressed machine tones and the warmer sounds of an acoustic guitar, careful not to crowd the well judged soundscape. Momentum built, the gentle thud of some beats that sound like they were recorded through the wall of a neighbouring studio, slip into the mix to help the track complete the last leg of its journey from its frosty ambient origins to warming downtempo ends.
The series is off to a fine start, keep your eyes peeled for the rest.
