With altruistic warmth, kosmische zeal & lysergic glee, Reign of Ferns' (Ryan J Raffa and Andrew Weathers) escape to the Aural Canyon ambient commune for a moment of reflection. Free from perverted norms, they levitate down forgotten cerebral corridors, gently prizing opening dusty cortical skylights to let in more thalamic light; widening their reality tunnels to see through capitalism's deepening shadows to the natural beauty & universal consciousness beyond.

What The Release Notes Say
"I go for long runs along the Keelung River early in the morning. I'm out the door by 5am. This early in the morning, there is a soft glow of pathway lights in the dark streets with stray dogs and shadows of people walking, shuffling, shaking, breathing and doing various exercises in the form of tai chi. There is this quiet moment as the sun rises when all of the pathway lights turn off. It's incredible how many times I'll pause my thoughts, look up at the lights in the slightly lit vapor of the rising sun, and then click. All the lights go out. Is the word "uncanny" that I'm looking for because it feels good when that happens? That it feels warm and welcoming, full of compassion and deep knowing when it's the darkest moment of the morning, when my own shadowy, vulnerable self allows itself to be seen for just a moment? It's that in-between place I'm looking to reside and discuss with this music."
