It's so easy for music to get buried in the release deluge if you don't catch it as it's unveiled, so I'm really happy to have stumbled across last month's compilation from American Dreams that collects some of my favourite ambientalists and some new names for me to keep an eye on, for this gently experimental lesson in the horizontal arts.

American Dreams Records' first compilation, In The Deep Drift You Will Find The Most Serene Of Lullabies, features ambient experimentations and collaborations between label stalwarts and newcomers.
