Franceso Milloni - Husky [Asleep (re)work](Self Release)

You can tell Milloni is at home flitting around the electronic, ambient and neoclassical worlds as on this fine new track from his new EP (worth exploring) he effortlessly hits the sweet spot between the three with the gentle felted keys serenading the sounds of distant crickets and admiring synths can't help but join in.

Robot Koch & Finnegan Tui - In Between (Trees & Cyborgs)

If I were to remember my dreams more I might have imagined sometime last year when I was repping both hard, that Finnegan Tui wandered into the L.A. studio of Robot Koch to make some of the most adventurous folktronica of recent times. Well they've only gone and done it!

Electric Sufi, Sarah Yaseen, Professor Chill, Mina Salama - O Ignis Spiritus (CPR)

Electric Sufi aim to unite disparate traditions whilst raising climate awareness - lofty goals, but I'm happy to report they're walking the walk as they enlist a Muslim Sufi singer to sing this ancient Christian chant over a healing drone & Oriental instrumentation to mesmerizing effect. Humanity might just be in with a chance if they carry on like this.

Les mamans du Congo & RROBIN - SALA SALA (JARRING EFFECTS)

African dancefloor fire from Les Mamans du Congo - 5  mothers from Congo who are moving with the times, fighting the never ending battle for equal rights whilst presenting the Lari traditions to a new generation. Here they're aided by French producer RROBIN who lays down a killer house riddim to create one of the deepest Afrobeats cuts 2023 will see.
