This is a real curiosity. First of all it's from Sri Lanka & apart from MIA I couldn't name another Sri Lankan artist. Secondly it's an odd blend of new age vibes and hip hop. They've quite rightly termed it eco-rap & is the sort of new fusion that gets me out of bed.

El Conejo - At Home With...(songs for solitude) Vol. 07

A new El Conejo release is always cause for rejoice & out of the blue he has suddenly popped up on this really cool release from La Petite Chambre who have been popping out some really great lockdown ambient wares over the last few weeks. Make sure you check the series for some other gems.

Pan•American - ORD-LHR (Bandcamp Self Release)

Pan.American is another artist making good use of the lockdown to produce a monthly series of his trademark ambient Americana with some suitably slow accompanying videos to boot, if you need some eye candy as well are ear nourishment.

Manuel Darquart - The Adriatic EP (Infinite Pleasure)

Nodding to the sea bordering the Croatian coast, home of many a hedonistic fun in the sun festival the last ten years, Manuel Darquart sonically sets the scene & does the, now cancelled, events justice by producing 4 great cuts of warm weather, hands in air, salt in hair house music.

A pleasing curve ball Bandcamp only release from the ever interesting Dreems as he re-edits a couple of oddball, fourth world, tropical, hypnotic, slow housey joints, who did the originals I have no idea. Normally I'm not massive on re-edit culture but I'm sure glad I know about these.

Epic45 - Dandelion Sessions (Bandcamp Self Release)

Somehow I picked up on this EP before I knew they had released an album on the same day (possibly more on that next week once I've checked it properly!). This is a wonderful exercise in psychedelic dream pop sure to dispel any sadness you might be suffering. Break glass in case of emergencies.
