Sun Rain & Gollden - Avowal

Collete Andrea works at the quite natural intersection of wellness and ambient music under her artist name Gollden, so this collaboration with Sun Rain, the Toronto composer/producer Chad Skinner who flirts between modern classical, ambient, and downtempo was perhaps always meant to be.

It doesn't take, "Avowal" long to state its good natured intentions, the starting gun drone left to hover in the background as sparkling, stress relieving tones and playful synth pads flood the consciousness. Slowly layer on electronic layer builds, stopping just short of full density so the track retains a lighter than air quality, just perfect to help remedy today's modern stresses and anxieties. If that wasn't enough Gollden digs out her guitar and peppers the remaining elixir with the faintest of notes to help ease any remaining tension.

Don't worry, everything will be alright, and this music will help.
