Dave Wesley - Non-linear Characteristics (Guias Sonoros) [Ambient Dub]

Dave Wesley is a Portugal based producer, remixer, musician and dj from Minneapolis and founder/label manager of Arctic Dub Records and Sursumcorda Recordings, who works under a series of monikers such as Dave Wesley, Existente, Xerography, and The Mayhem Lecture Series.

He's rarely an easy listen, preferring to push boundaries & provoke rather than please, so I was pleasantly surprised with the new LP. On Non-linear Characteristics, released via his Guias Sonoras imprint, he returns to mortal listening realms, reimagining his dub techno past transported to a downtempo electronic future using altogether friendlier frequency ranges & gentler ambient experimentation to fine, far-out & feet up, bass heavy effect.
