Cr&m have been floating around TSMM's blog and playlists for a while now. Made up of 60% of a long defunct indie-rock group they reunited during the age of virus to start creating again, and I like their vibe.
The new LP has just dropped and it's the usual inventive electroacoustic fusion that refuses to be pigeon holed, and which hovers between ambient, post-rock, IDM and kosmische worlds depending on their whims.
The album is well worth a listen and is a dreamy, low gravity affair on the whole, although a couple of the tracks clunk and clatter a bit too much for my liking, but I'm particularly taken by "Always Sad in November" which is a particularly blissful fusion. The guitars lay down a good natured folk vibe which slowly gets consumed by the cosmic electronica on it's quest to reach a higher plain, the track unhurriedly glowing brighter until resistance is futile, you've renounced all earthly belongings and are searching online for the nearest ashram.
