Another month and another great single from Alucuo. You may remember his great self titled track which I wrote about and has been sitting pretty in the Slow Balearic Playlist for a few weeks now?
Well I'm happy to report it now has company and those that loved the previous track won't be dissapointed, it's more of the same beautifully crafted Balearic folk vibes. Kicking off with some light picking, the track wastes no time in introducing the main hypnotic guitar refrain on which the track hangs - simple yet so effective. The lightest of percussive touches sit back in the mix offering gently propulsive encouragement, strings float in and out of the soundscape adding a hint of heart wrenching melancholy to the warm guitar layers that evoke simpler Southern lifestyles and which walk down a sunnier street, encouraging you to do the same.
It's a beautiful, thoughtful guitar meditation and another nudge to keep your eye on this guy.
