Trystero - Sfumare e Vedere (Knekelhuis) [Post Punk]
Saying it like they mean it, Trystero revive the fertile post punk breeding ground of the late 80s when synths, samplers & drum machines started to infiltrate the guitar world & taught a few rockers how to dance & post punk wiped off the spit, got its head out of the glue bag, into some books & had a look around the sonic spectrum. There's even a couple of classic sounding Balearic joints to add to the throwback fun.

Trystero is made up of Scottish/Luxembourgish producer Thomas Lea Clarke (aka MR TC), Nelly, who is part of the superb Easy Goat quartet, and Low Bat, also known as one half of the formidable Jean-Luc duo. The project was born during a residency on a barge moored on the canals of northern France. Low Bat’s songs oscillate between texts in Italian, French and English, talking about class struggle and love (what else?). The strength of Nelly’s creativity on bass and her unequivocal slappings and Thomas’s drive on acid-rock production make for a superb adventure that rides somewhere between krautrock, post punk and electronic pop.
