The cover for Italian ambient producer Runaway Horses' Recollected in Tranquility album, showing a blurred green and purple grass with text "RUNAWAY HORSES RECOLLECTED IN TRANQUILITY." Moody and serene abstract nature scene.

If you require a sleepy soundtrack for some page turning, duvet burrowing, light toast crunching & gentle introspection, then tune in to the new ambient LP from Runaway Horses on Dronarium. The faint field recordings remind you that there is life outside the front door if you run out of jam, whilst the serene ambient electronics & fragile tones argue that fresh air can wait & even suggest that Monday could be improved by a taking a sick day.

Italian ambient music producer Andrea Morana aka Runaway Horses gently leans on a horse's head over a stable door. He holds a brush, evoking a calm, affectionate mood. Rustic wooden background.

What The Release Notes Say

The title of this album is derived from the concept of poetry according to William Wordsworth, who described it as nothing more than an "emotion recollected in tranquility." Tinkling, soft, vibrant sounds and granular synthesis predominate the compositions in "recollected in tranquility". Together with field recordings captured in nature, these sounds weave serene and meditative soundscapes. The author's intent is to transport the listener to a state of utmost peace while captivating their ear with a tapestry of pulsating and organic sounds. The tunes and tones unfolding in these seven tracks paint an imagery of a delicate blossoming of springtime and whisper of floral nostalgia.
