Nosleeptuesday is an anonymous producer from somewhere in Canada. I think. What I do know though is that they've got a nice line in new millennium ambient music that takes the twentieth century blueprint and repurposes it for generations Y, Z and Alpha.

In true twenty first century style track lengths are cut short to accommodate today's ADD afflictions. "Cloud 9" gets the ball rolling with a sweet spoken vocal ushering in twinkling, positively vibrating synth tones and an oversized, somewhat flabby bass line that provides ample weight to anchor the low gravity electronics, but before you know it the waves come in and promptly wash away the hard work. "gone_" eschews the subwoofer abuse to fuse hazy machine noise, more twinkling synths, what sounds like field recordings of the local swamp at midnight and male spoken words, possibly from some noise sensitive studio neighbours.
With both tracks taking up just two and a half minutes of your precious time in total, there's no excuse to miss, "dream escape", the star of the show. A late night hypnogogic atmosphere is promptly set, the perfect zone for the machine warped spectral voices to haunt. Somewhat wary this time, the better natured synth tones take their time arriving, but bring a sweeter dreamy vibe to the ending of this short, solid, twilight lit, ambient triptych.
