Lyberarchelulo - Train Chimes Climb the Attic Charter (Self Release) [Improvised Ambient]

I have a soft spot for rogue drummers who decide backstage was fine for a while but then decide to take the lead, especially when they set their sights on the musical outer reaches, genre vagueness and mystical territory. So join Johnson City, Tennessee-based percussionist W. Andrew Gibbens aka Lyberarchelulo as he wiggles his way through the band and nearer the crowd, with a fine blend of far out field recordings, nature-conducted exotic instrumentation, and when not busy creating improvised instrumental ambient soundscapes, also calls in some mates to lay down a couple of deep-as-they-come spiritual grooves that sound like they jumped straight out of 1973.
If this unsung album by Lyberarchelulo is hitting the spot then you should head over to the ambient works of fellow percussionist Kita Kouhei.

What The Release Notes Say
It began with train track spikes and fasteners clanging in the Spring, hung by twine from the branch of a dogwood tree. The first response to the clamor was the pulling upon the attic door ladder. Then more responses. Riding cicada song of the Brood X timing; the dimensions of island frogs. Rhodes keys. Travel then travel again in place. Honey. Moon. Return to regularly expected activities. Play the course, stop to see some details. Friendly collaborations, unexpected examinations.
