Luvly is a free flowing, genre fluid, Nigerian born, London raised, Cardiff dwelling man of the world. He's been floating around the music scene for a while, dipping his toe in the water a few years back with a more straight up, chart eyeing R&B vibe, but things started to get interesting last year when he embarked on a more twisted sonic path and started to stretch out vocally which immediately set him apart, and as a consequence he's been making some noise with his new EP.

His new four tracker kicks off with the nice easy bumping, jazz licked slow soul meets fast spitting title track, "Pardon My Silence", swiftly followed by the cosmic tickled, skittering, broken jazz futurism of, "Long Way Away" before going all hazy hip hop soul on "Intent" - nice.
Things get really interesting with the track's oddly buried final track, "Shelele". It's a broken beat, punky, Afrofuturistic banger that's going to smash the live shows, with a touch of the Bob Vylan or Sleaford Mods righteous anger, especially in the chorus, as Luvly's voice strains to express the struggles of modern living and stresses of keeping your head high in the rat race - the fight is real and he lets you know in no uncertain terms, not that you were in any doubt, you just haven't said it out loud yet.
