A new iu takahashi release is always a treat. On her new LP for LAAPS, she escapes from her urban domain & its sacrifice demanding money gods. Barefoot she sets off on a Shintoism reviving ambient mission, through distant valleys & around hidden mountain lakes; field recording their audible essence as she wanders, infusing the captured serenity with the lightest of electronic touches & invoking the long forgotten local kami with her translucent vocals.
