Feather & Bone are electronic inclined producer and vocalist Ronlit, and the acoustic guitar playing Daniel Gold. Based deep in Californian woodlands, they'e surrounded by the beauty and power of nature and and do a fine job of channelling those earth frequencies into their seductive folktronica.

Their latest single is the hauntingly beautiful, "It Goes Away" which I'm half expecting to hear on a TV show sometime soon. Much of the joy here is in the (probably painstakingly crafted) simplicity. The succinct, beautifully delivered vocals hint at the transient nature of pain and loss, the lyrics slowly dissipating into the ether as if to highlight the message. Aching synth tones and pads accentuate the hurt felt as Gold unhurriedly strums a melancholic refrain that sheds some welcome acoustic light into the sadness whilst simultaneiously accentuating the melancholic and introspective mood. It's a bittersweet gem that's been on repeat this morning.
