The cover for the Eric Chenaux Trio's, Delights Of My Life album, showing a forest overlaid with abstract art consisting of layers of orange, blue, and green. Text reads "Eric Chenaux Trio Delights of My Life" in stylized fonts.

Sometimes you hear a new voice and within seconds it's zipped around your brain, appeased all your critical faculties & you're a fan. On even rarer occasions that voice then proceeds straight to your heart & you're smitten. Well Eric, I love you. If Chenaux's vocals weren't enough Ryan Driver & Philippe Melanson have subverted the 20th century jazz standard, preferring a looser grip on reality for a new strain of acid-balladry that flickers between lucidity, flashback squelchiness & the downright visionary. I love them too.
